The hotel had a very warm and welcoming staff. Despite the language barrier, they made an effort to communicate and were extremely helpful. the location of the hotel was also a positive aspect, with it being only a 10-minute walk from the city center. there was a great Chinese/Italian restaurant right across the street and a farmers/antique market that added to the charm of the area.
The area where the hotel was located. It was described as a multi-ethnic zone and not up to usual standards for tourism.

Mind-blowing hospitality, super friendly and helpful owners, jaw-dropping cleanliness, excellent towels. Convenient location near Scuola Holden and Arsenale, surrounded by antique shops and cozy bistrots with delicious food at cheap prices. Short walk to city center. Also, grandma provides a private parking area with secure access. Free wi-fi, off-site car park, bar/lounge area, flat-screen TV, in-room breakfast.

Our visit to Turin with our little ones was made even more enjoyable by our stay at Hotel Dora. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The kids absolutely loved the pool, spending hours splashing and playing. It was a great spot for some family fun and relaxation.
For dads, it would be great if the hotel had a small playground or play area for the children.

The rooms at Hotel Dora have a classic style and are simply charming. They made me feel like I was stepping back in time, in a good way. Plus, having a flat-screen TV and a desk in the room was super convenient for catching up on work and winding down with a movie.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the slippers provided in the room. They just didn't feel very comfortable to me, but hey, maybe others would enjoy them.

So many restaurants and shops nearby, I felt like a kid in a candy store. The shared lounge was a great place to pretend to work while actually people-watching. And hey, I walked to the Royal Palace in just 10 minutes!
Oh, and let's not forget the thrill of leaving my key every time I stepped out. Such an exciting hotel rule, who needs a sense of independence anyway?
